(Ben imitates a random hit and comment…)
Typical that the very first political post would get edited by the administrators! 🙂
You guys (we, but I’ll continue the pretense…) will need to be careful with your deific powers of revisionism, and let us know when you put words in our mouths…
I am detecting a “page”: the “Principles” page (could it live under “About”?), to which the administrators must adhere, and to which commenters will be held. Ie no cussin’ ‘n swearin’, only the softest of porn (unless it is boat-porn, or tech-porn, or nature-porn, where the hardest will be tolerated :-), ad-hominem is verbotten, and the administrators promise not to edit posts “unnecessarily”. But typos, grammatical errors and [sic] are things up with which I will not put, so some editing will thus be required to satisfy this user.
I notice your reply function currently requires a name and email to be entered for anonymous users. You should fix that with a plug-in or widget for user authentication and login. Not to eliminate anonymity – it is important, as it allows a freedom of speech and from any possible persecution for our opinions that we would otherwise lack – but rather to streamline the posting process. I can enter whatever I like in those fields, and my comment will get to you anyway, right? But why should I enter my info more than once, i.e. when I first determine I will be coming back and commenting?
The blog should be identity-neutral. Those that want to should be able to remain anonymous, those who wish to be associated with their ideas should be so associated for all to see.
What a lame post
What a lame comment.

I think there is a plugin that can handle this…
Hah! “Waiting moderation”? Scared to publish my comment?
But at least I didn’t have to re-type my info…
This was a reply to my own comment, and should thread under it…
I’ll see what I can do, Random Paranoid User 🙂
